After I had my kids I fell further and further down my priority list. I was always showing up for everyone else until it became  all I did. I was no longer a priority at all. I struggled with anxiety, I was pre-diabetic, and on high blood pressure meds. I was tired all the time. I gained so much weight I was embarrassed and hid behind loose, baggy clothes. After having a hysterectomy and struggling  with perimenopause symptoms on top of that- it all got worse. I tried every quick fix and  nothing stuck. I was beginning to contemplate other medical routes I could take because I felt so lost, broken, and miserable. I’m off high blood pressure meds and I’ve been logging the best blood pressure readings I’ve ever achieved. I have more energy. I sleep better. My kids say I’m more calm and patient. I feel like a new woman. The best part is it’s all me putting in the work and showing up for myself. I realized making myself a priority made things better for everyone, not just me. It took me 3 years of frustration to figure it out. Trust me. I know.  My weight wouldn't budge for those 3 years. Am honestly I'd say I was doing "all the things" and hide behind my ailments and health problems. But the truth was, I didn't stick with it and do the things I had to. In 3 months, I lost over 20lbs and I'm down from a size 6/8 to a size 2/4 in jeans But more importantly I'm getting healthier and more fit. working now on firming and building muscle. Get a good trainer!   I hired a virtual trainer has been a game changer.She has taught me I don't need to kill myself at the gym every single day, lifting heavy weights is key and  I don't need to starve myself.  Brooke Johnson  is seriously the best and everyone should hire her.
